Paul Leading CP Poll

Republican Congressman and former Libertarian presidential candidate Ron Paul is ahead in a poll on the Constitution Party web site.

Out the 2,533 votes cast so far, Paul leads as the first choice candidate for President with 42%. Congressman Tom Tancredo is in second with 23% with Alan Keyes in third with 12%. Roy More is polling 8%, Congressman Duncan Hunter 5%, Constitution Party founder and three time presidential candidate Howard Phillips has 4%. 2004 CP Vice Presidential candidate Chuck Baldwin has 3%, Jim Gilchrist 2%, Montana State Rep. Rick Jore 1%, and Jerome Corsi, author of Unfit for Command, has 0%.

For second choice candidate Tancredo leads the field with 27% and Keyes is the top third choice candidate with 16%.
