Former WI Governor Makes Candidacy Offical

Former Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson made his campaign for the White House official and made the claim that he is "the reliable conservative."

"I was a dark horse candidate for governor. I was a dark horse candidate when I ran for the Assembly. I am the underdog, and I don't mind that," Thompson said concerning his chances of winning the Republican nomination.

Thompson's brother, Ed Thompson, has also been mentioned as a possible Libertarian candidate for President in the upcoming election.
