Romney On Abortion In 2002

What it looks like is that Romney changes his stand on abortion when it is popular.

America does not need a President that changes his stand on issues when it is popular. America needs a President that will stand up for is right, when it is popular and when it is not.

Actually, I think Romney did a great job at defending his point of view. It’s clear that Shannon O’Brien tried to twist actual facts. Tim Russert defended Romney and those facts as well. Romney is one of the most unwavering candidates I’ve seen in a while. I admire his conviction. These accusations are quite petty and overlook the great qualities he has as a strong republican.

Where Romney stands on abortion is not a petty matter.

Mitt Romney did defend his pro choice point of view in this debate and in 1994 but, he now says that he pro life.

Romney is pro choice when running in a liberal state but, pro life when he is seeking the support of social conservatives in other states.

The bottom line is that Romney changes his view point when it is politically convenient.
