The Republican Presidential Nomination 2008

The Republican Party is headed for trouble. With Rudy Giuliani and John McCain as the front-runners for the 2008 GOP Presidential nomination it shows that the party’s leaders are turning liberal.

Conservatives will have to find a new choice in 2008 if candidates like Giuliani wins the Republican Party nomination. The Constitution Party may be an option but, it is already falling apart. Also, the CP has not even made a dent in any Presidential election since its founding in 1992.

The Republican Party will also be hurt if its nominee in 2008 is liberal. A conservative third party candidacy would take votes away from GOP and possibly hand the election to the Democrat’s candidate.
