Former Speaker of the House of Representatives Newt Gingrich is not the best choice for the Republican party in 2008.
There is too much controversy surrounding Gingrich that pull him down in the general election. Gingrich, like former President Bill Clinton, carried on a five year affair with House aid Callista Bisek which lead to his second divorce in 1999.
If a person can not be trusted in his marriage, how can he be trusted to govern over a country?
