Chapman Ends Campaign

Gene Chapman has ended his campaign for the Presidency. Chapman, who was seeking the nominations of the Constitution and Libertarian parties as well many other minor parties, has deleted all of his campaign web sites.

"I've carried the ball as far down field as I can. With 4 jobs and school starting in June, along with not having a truck to carry me to presidential debates, I see no way to continue the campaign," Chapman says is the reason he quit the race.

But, is that the real reason Gene ended his campaign? Gene's exit from the race comes less than 24 hours after a few replies were made on the anti-Chapman blog Gene Chapman For President of the United States of America, Incorporated? that could be politically damaging to him.

As a select few of you are aware, this blog got hit with a rather unusual anonymous comment yesterday. I'm not going to repeat it because I have no way of substantiating some of what was in it, but it was posted by someone who claimed to know Gene's ex-wife, and it made some very specific accusations about Gene's background which, if true, would not only destroy his political aspirations, but would render him a pariah forever.

It's possible those two things are related and, if so, I just feel bad that Gene didn't listen to me back when he first started his campaign, even before I started this blog, when I warned him in no uncertain terms that anything he had ever done will come back to bite him in a presidential campaign. I don't know if this is some of the stuff that he thought would never come to light, but I do find his sudden disapparance - in less than 24 hours after those comments were posted in multiple blogs - to be a very, very strange coincidence.

Chapman Ends Camapiagn (One of Them Anyways)

Gene Chapaman has ended his campaign for the presidential nomination of the Constitution Party.

Chapman calls the Constitution Party a brick wall because they won't return any of his calls or e-mails and says that the party is dead.

Chapman tells his followers "Since you can't do anything with a brick wall, I'm asking my followers to come on over to the Libertarian Party and get involved with our campaign here."

Chapman is also seeking the nomination of the Southern, Goldwater-Reagan Conservative, Independent, Reform and Boston Tea Party parties.

The Chapman Challenger blog was launched today, by The Conservative President 2008.

Due the amount disagreement to the things Gene Chapman has posted on his blog, not just about the issues but also about other candidates, this blog will seek to challenge what Chapman has said.

Phillies' Comment

Libertarian presidential hopeful George Phillies left this comment on the post "Chapman: Teachers = Communists."

"Also, as can be seen with a short internet searchI live in Worcester, which is the second largest city in Massachusets, and not a Boston suburb.I am a college Professor, not a public school teacher.I work for a private university, not a public school.I am Chair of my County ACLU Chapter. We do have a school-related lawsuit locally. The Worcester public library was discriminating against a home schooler in ways too complicated to explain briefly, and they were to my mind really stubborn about it.Incidentally, the ACLU was founded by a group of people, not one, years before the Communist Party CPUSA was founded. Those people to my knowledge have now all passed away."

Chapman: Communists = Teachers

Gene Chapman, who is seeking the presidential nomination of a number of party's including the Libertarian and Constitution Party, says that fellow Libertarian candidate for President George Phillies is a communist.

Why does Chapman say this? Because Phillies is a school teacher, lives in Boston and paid by a public school!

Sounds like Chapman is really trying to get the backing of educators, ya right!

Chapman Supports Secession

Southern Party presidential candidate Gene Chapman supports the right for separate states to leave the Union.

"I support the right of states to secede anytime they wish, otherwise we live in slavery to the whims of the Federal Government," Chapman told The Conservative President 2008.

Concerning the Civil War Chapman said "I believe the War of Northern Aggression was fought in an unconstitutional fashion with no real desire to free slaves on President Lincoln's part. As the leader of the Slave Freedom Movement (SlaveFreedom.com), I am happy to see an end to chattel slavery in America, but I am saddened to see that it was replaced by Communist Slavery via the income tax, property tax and counting people like cattle (the three primary attributes of slavery back to 1,800 B.C.)."

Multi Party Candidate Answers Questions

Gene Chapman is seeking to be the 2008 Presidential candidate of the Libertarian, Constitution, Southern and Boston Tea parties. Chapman took the time to answer these questions for The Conservative President 2008.

1. Why are you running for President?
I am an anti-Communist in Communist America, and I find no one else able to articulate my case but me.

2. Why are you seeking the Libertarian, Constitution, Boston Tea and Southern Party nominations?
We are attempting to make a new super third party to actually get our people elected to national office rather then just running to be captain of a third party debate team.

3. What do you see as the biggest problem with the Democrat and Republican party's?
They are no longer in a dispute between Communism in the Democrat Party and Liberty in the Republican Party; rather, they are in dispute only as to the degree of Communist Aggression we will live under in America.

4. Do you consider yourself a fiscal and social conservative?
It is hard to define me in today's terms. I am a Libertarian by dictionary definition, so I suppprt leaving people alone to make their own mistakes in life. "Liberty of Conscience" is center in my life.

A former Goldwater Presidential Campaign advisor, Noel Nelson, puts me in Goldwater's camp.

5. In your opinion, what is one of the biggest issues facing America?
The Ten Planks of "The Commuinst Manifesto" are destroying us from within.

6. If another candidate with similar views as yours were to arise, would you consider dropping out of the race?
Unless Barry Goldwater rises from the dead, that's not going to happen.
